KBox - EMPLOYER BASED SOLUTION

BL Healthcare presents the next generation of IP based kiosk solutions for remote patient care and management. KBox is an interactive remote care management platform that can be easily installed, provisioned and maintained remotely.

This multi-function system takes healthcare access to a new level by enabling care providers to integrate vital sign monitoring, interactive care messages and status inquiries, multimedia information, and high quality video visits, all through a single IP enabled kiosk solution.

The KBox serves as an engine for high-availability remote care access. Interfaces can be tailored for each location type ensuring ease of use, high availability, and long term durability.

 The KBox leverages BL Healthcare’s web-based provider that can be accessed from any internet-based computer giving your organization full visibility into a variety of BL Healthcare solutions at various locations.


The KBox System combines simplicity for patients with flexibility for providers through a unique set of features:
  • The KBox consists of an aggregator for FDA approved medical devices coupled with an embedded video server
  • The KBox has simple integrated medical devices including a blood pressure meter, thermometer, pulse oximeter, stethoscope, 12 lead ECG, and an optional general examination camera
  • The KBox also integrates with a number of existing FDA approved medical devices over Bluetooth, serial, and USB connections
  • Installation and provisioning require only one power connection and an Ethernet DHCP enabled web connection
  • The KBox has a VGA port, a keyboard and mouse connection to provide a local web interface (enables web access functionality while collecting, validating, and persisting medical device data)
  • The KBox has all of the components necessary to support high resolution video visits provided by industry leading partners in the telecommunications and video conferencing fields
  • The KBox is designed to be used alone or with assistance from a nurse. Our custom graphical interfaces ensure that PC aptitude is not a barrier to use
  • HL7-compatible software can be easily integrated with electronic medical records
